Our Aurora Cabin is certainly a favorite, and it becomes clear why when you see the view! This Cabin has a spacious deck (and BBQ) overlooking Fish Lake - making it the perfect place to view the spectacular Aurora if it is around. There is a loft bedroom and it can comfortably sleep 4 people (max) so it is perfect for families or groups wanting their own private space. Our Aurora Cabin is also equipped with a fully self-contained kitchen with propane stove and lights and a cooler & ice packs to keep fridge items. Away from any light pollution, the cabin is wonderfully secluded so you can soak in the views and enjoy the peaceful surrounding wilderness.

What to Expect when staying "off-grid"
Our ranch and all its accommodations truly encompass the wilderness ranch lifestyle. Sky High Wilderness Ranch is “off the grid” - it is serviced by quaint outhouses, has limited cell service, no WiFi and water is hauled up from downtown. Our buildings are warmed by a wood stove, making for a cozy stay. We have gravity-fed showers and all of our lights and appliances are all powered by propane (no electricity).
Please note we are 30 minutes from the City and have no meal options at the ranch. Please bring your own groceries before heading up.

In the Winter we run exceptional dog sled tours and during Summer months the dogs get a rest and the horses can take you out to explore our beautiful area at Fish Lake. "The experience was great, from the time of booking to the check out, they answered right away, once there we were late to do the check in and they were waiting for us, the dogs are lovely, the cabin is just magic and it feels like a winder wonderland! Every little detail had been taken care of, I highly recommend it, we could have stay there for a month!"Veronica (Airbnb Guest), April 2018
"Sky High superseded our expectations. The ranch is exactly as advertised. We went in November and it felt as if we were in a snow globe. We stayed in the Aurora cabin where we saw the Northern lights. We also did dog sledding and snow mobiling through the ranch. Everyone we met affiliated with the ranch was very pleasant, helpful, and eager to please. Not to mention during the booking process they were very easy to communicate with and very helpful." Lauren (Airbnb Guest), November 2018
"Perfect place to unwind."Dennis (Airbnb Guest), June 2018
"A truly amazing cabin that is 5 stars in all categories. The cabin is so cozy, peaceful and warm, with breathtaking views and has everything you need to shut down and enjoy all of what the Yukon has to offer. The cabin is an easy drive into Whitehorse (we day tripped to Carcross as well as the animal reserve and many amazing museums) as well as hiking trails right at your doorstep. The hosts were lovely and had the cabin heated and ready for our arrival and provided any information that you needed and then left you to take it all in. If we (myself, husband and two children 9 and 5 years) are ever back in the Yukon, this will be our go to cozy cabin."Shelly (Airbnb Guest), October 2018
